Hi! I’m Marley, born and raised in Bermuda. I'm a social butterfly, the best mom on the planet, and call me crazy…but a Long Island Ice-Tea is my absolute favorite cocktail!

Toast & Taste was established in 2019, after taking a 1 on 1 mixology class in Toronto. I immediately fell in love with the entire experience of making cocktails, with ingredients I would’ve never dreamed of using.

While there are no rules attached to Toast & Taste besides drinking responsibly, there's one additional rule we take pretty seriously... Before you taste each drink for the first time, a toast must be made. This is getting a bit long but stay with me. That same year, in 2019 I took a Biology course that completely captured my interest. The focal point of the course was “Mind over Biology”. For the duration of the course, I learned about how speaking things into existence is actually a proven fact biologically. In your brain there’s a Reticular Activating System that is responsible for filtering out unnecessary information, so we are able to notice the most important things. It allows us to easily hear what we want our brains to focus on. Studies show that positive affirmations not only boost your self-confidence, but also enhance your ability to sustain the behavior that makes that affirmation reality.                                                                                                                      

Soooo… basically that was my long-winded way of explaining why toasts are important, and a little (or long) explanation of where we got our name from!

Who doesn’t need a drink after reading all of that? I’d like to wrap up by saying, I couldn’t thank those who have booked, or simply showed interest enough! I look forward to all that’s to come.
